In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into beautiful, high-quality granite surfaces used in countertops, flooring, and other architectural features. Your expertise will ensure precision craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient production workflows. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to handle stone materials Follow detailed blueprints and specifications to cut, shape, and assemble granite components with precision Use hand tools and power tools for grinding, polishing, finishing, and detailed stone work Measure materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure dimensional accuracy Handle materials carefully, including heavy lifting and proper materials handling techniques to prevent damage or injury Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to safety regulations and PPE protocols such as respiratory protection and safety gear Perform quality checks on finished products to meet safety standards in production and customer specifications Skills Proficiency in operating forklift equipment for material movement and positioning Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication machinery and tools Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for stone fabrication Knowledge of fabrication processes including cutting, polishing, finishing, and assembly of granite surfaces Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Experience with stone finishing techniques such as polishing and surface smoothing Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments including PPE use, safety protocol adherence, and hazard awareness Construction or manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with millwork or similar trades advantageous Join us to craft stunning granite pieces that transform spaces!
