Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring for a Press Operator in Goleta, CA. As a Press Operator you will: Job Description and Day to Day Responsibilities Set up dies in press equipment to support product prototype and production manufacturing. Perform visual inspections of products for defects using microscopes. Feed new coil strip material through the die during production runs. Complete and maintain accurate production documentation including press sheets, press parameters, and work travelers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety requirements. This is a full-time opportunity. Required Skills Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or press operation experience preferred. Ability to set up dies and operate press equipment. Experience performing visual inspections using microscopes or other quality inspection tools. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic math skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation. Ability to lift/pull up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and walk stairs as needed. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in metal stamping or precision manufacturing environments. Familiarity with production documentation and work travelers. Experience working with coil-fed press equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality control procedures. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Pay Rate $20.00- $22.00 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
