Job Description

Shifts:
1st: 6am-230pm 2nd: 2pm- 1030pm 3rd:10pm-630am (Sunday- Thursday) Visual Inspector Position Summary The Manufacturing Technician performs critical hands-on production duties, including visual inspection, aseptic processing, and cleanroom operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role handles moderately complex assignments requiring sound judgment, adherence to standardized batch records, and strict regulatory compliance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Visual Inspection & Quality Assurance:
Conduct naked-eye visual inspections of manufactured products and vials to identify defects, ensuring strict adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
Aseptic Processing & Cleanroom Operations:
Participate in product filling, aseptic processing, and media fill qualifications using precise, deliberate aseptic techniques. Maintain cleanroom facilities, small parts, and equipment.
Material & Equipment Setup:
Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials for batch accuracy. Set up equipment, prepare critical media, and gather resources for daily production runs.
Documentation & Compliance:
Complete and maintain accurate Batch Production Records (BPRs) in compliance with GMP standards. Serve as a subject matter expert for document revisions and process improvements.
Packaging & Finishing:
Prepare final products for shipment, including accurate packaging and labeling of vials.
Operational Flexibility:
Adapt to shifting production demands, shift changes, and evolving business needs while carrying out routine and complex manufacturing tasks under general supervision. Must-Have Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of Visual Inspection (VI) experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Hands-on cleanroom experience.
