Job Overview Proferrin Labs, a division of Colorado Biolabs, Inc., is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Setup Operator - 2nd Shift to join our Production team. The Setup Operator is responsible for preparing, configuring, and adjusting manufacturing machinery and equipment to support safe and efficient production runs. This position assists with equipment changeovers, troubleshooting, cleaning, and setup while helping maintain quality, safety, and cGMP standards throughout the production process. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to production specifications and established procedures. Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to help ensure proper operation and minimize downtime. Assist with changeovers between product runs, including cleaning, part replacement, and equipment reconfiguration. Monitor equipment and production processes for compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Accurately document setup procedures, equipment issues, maintenance activities, and other required production information. Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to address equipment or process-related issues. Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas in accordance with cGMP and sanitation standards. Promptly report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs) to the appropriate supervisor. Follow written and verbal instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Working knowledge of mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work 2nd shift. Ability to reliably commute to the Jurupa Valley, CA facility. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or equipment setup. Previous experience working in a cGMP environment. Experience setting up, adjusting, troubleshooting, or performing changeovers on manufacturing equipment.
