Assistant Designer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to support our design team. This role is essential for ensuring timely execution of sample requests, send-outs, and overall product development. You will collaborate closely with Designers and Import Factories to maintain accurate tracking of fabrics, trims, and development materials. Key Responsibilities Complete sample requests for stores accurately and by deadlines. Manage and follow up on send-outs to ensure timely processing. Receive and organize all fabrics and trims, ensuring proper identification codes. Maintain consistent communication with import factories to support product development timelines. Prioritize daily duties and consult with Designers regarding any outstanding issues. Duties Process and manage sample requests. Create and process CADs as needed. Recolor prints and artwork as required. Coordinate sending out screens and fabrics for printing. Send fabrics and trims for dyeing processes. Follow up with import factories on production and delivery. Check in all trims and fabrics and assign proper codes. Assist with overall design room operations and needs. Additional support on other projects or areas may be requested as needed. Qualifications Highly organized with excellent time management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Experience in Sketching Proficient in Illustrator Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and factories. Experience in apparel, fabric, and trim management is a plus.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
