JOB OVERVIEW

The Production Support Helper plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency, cleanliness, and safety of our aerospace manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Floor Machinist Supervisor, you will provide hands-on logistical and maintenance support to ensure our CNC work centers and shop floor operate at peak performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics & Material Handling:

Operate forklifts to transport raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP) parts between CNC work centers and different building locations.

Machine Maintenance:

Perform daily preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning filters, degreasing cooling systems, and monitoring oil/coolant levels.

Waste Management:

Oversee the safe disposal of recycled coolants, oils, and inert liquid waste into collection totes for third-party removal.

Shop Floor Excellence:

Maintain a clean and safe environment by managing spills, removing scrap, and strictly adhering to 6S and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention standards.

Compliance:

Ensure all tasks meet AS9100 quality standards and maintain full material traceability during transport.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a machine shop or CNC manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills & Qualifications Technical:

Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office) and the ability to operate a forklift.

Compliance Knowledge:

Familiarity with

AS9100, ITAR

compliance, and counterfeit parts prevention is a major plus.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for at least 8 hours a day; frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.

Lifting:

Must be able to lift and move 25-40 lbs occasionally.

Environment:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise levels, and occasional exposure to fumes or confined machine spaces.

Vision:

Strong close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required for safety and quality checks.

Pay:

$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
