Job Description

Food Production Associate Location:

Petaluma, CA Pay:

$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30

PM Start Date:

October 12th, 2026 (approx. 1-2 month assignment) We are seeking a dependable Food Production Associate to join a local food manufacturing company in Petaluma. The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of previous food production or manufacturing experience and is comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food production and cheese processing tasks Lift and brush cheese wheels weighing approximately 20 pounds Support sanitation procedures after receiving proper training Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Complete other production duties as assigned

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of food production or food manufacturing experience English speaking or bilingual in English and Spanish Comfortable working primarily in temperatures between 40 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit Able to lift at least 20 pounds throughout the shift Comfortable performing physical work approximately 25 percent of the day Dependable, safety focused, and able to follow instructions
