Based in Santa Ana, CA, we deliver brand promotion, consumer engagement, audience growth and increased ecommerce sales revenue for our partners through enterprise level brand monetization services. Overview Craftwork Design Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Product Development Associate to help bring custom apparel and promotional goods from concept to delivery. This role supports product development, sourcing, costing, and production across programs for our brand partners. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience creating tech packs, building accurate buys, and managing production with domestic screen printing and embroidery partners as well as overseas factories and manufacturers. They are highly organized, communicate clearly, and keep multiple projects moving against firm deadlines. Responsibilities Develop and maintain tech packs, product specifications, artwork placement details, and production instructions for apparel and promotional goods. Coordinate product development from initial concept and sampling through approvals, production, and final delivery. Prepare accurate buys, purchase orders, size breakdowns, and production allocations. Request and review vendor quotes, samples, proofs, and production details to confirm they meet design, quality, and cost requirements. Manage day-to-day communication with domestic screen printing and embroidery providers and overseas factories and manufacturers. Build and maintain production calendars, tracking approvals, work in progress, and key milestones across multiple projects. Follow up proactively with vendors and internal teams to keep timelines on track and resolve open items. Review samples and finished goods for accuracy in materials, color, fit, construction, decoration, packaging, and overall quality. Identify potential production delays, specification errors, or quality issues early and help develop solutions. Track product costs and communicate changes that could affect approved budgets or margins. Provide clear, consistent project status updates to internal brand management, design, and operations teams. Maintain organized project files, product information, approvals, and vendor documentation. Qualifications Experience in apparel and promotional goods product development or production. Experience creating and managing tech packs and translating creative direction into clear vendor instructions. Experience developing buys and coordinating production with domestic decoration partners and overseas manufacturers. Familiarity with screen printing, embroidery, sampling, sourcing, and production workflows. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage several programs and deadlines at once. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in specifications, quantities, approvals, and documentation. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to vendor follow-up and problem-solving. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering quality products on time. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
