This role suits someone who likes hands-on work, enjoys putting things together, and wants to grow their skills in a shop environment. Some assembly or shop experience helps, but we'll train the right person who's mechanically inclined and ready to learn. What you'll do: Assemble mechanical parts and equipment using drawings and work instructions Learn to read basic blueprints and assembly drawings Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten, and install parts Take simple measurements to check that parts fit correctly Mask and prep materials for the next step in production Deburr parts and use common shop tools Check your finished work for quality Follow shop safety and quality rules What we're looking for: Some experience in assembly, fabrication, or a hands-on shop or production setting Basic blueprint or drawing reading, or a willingness to learn Comfort using hand and power tools Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic 1:30 PM to 10:00 pm Monday to Friday Workforce Solutions is committed to full compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.
