We are dedicated to quality excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in everything we do. Currently we are seeking Dimensional Inspector/ Planners to perform visual and dimensional inspection and planning activities related to the functions in which the repair station is rated. These functions include repair and overhaul of landing gear and hydraulic components for Boeing MD/DC, Boeing 7-series, Bombardier Q-400, and Lockheed applications. Responsabilities Evaluation and disposition of in-service landing gear and hydraulic components forwear and corrosion through visual and dimensional inspection using measuring toolssuch as micrometers, gages, and indicators To ensure all articles are maintained in accordance with the customers continuousairworthiness program Working in conjunction with, and providing technical support to machinists,operators, technicians and various departments leads to solve technical issues To ensure all maintenance is documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/ traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs Implementation of customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes Qualifications The ability to read, write and understand English Detail oriented Ability to program CNC operations using Fanuc programming language Ability to read and understand OHM/ CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, nickel plate, andvarious thermal sprayed surfaces Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but notlimited too; micrometers, dial bore gages, telescope gages, height gages, andindicators General knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials,tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated. The ability to read, write and understand English Detail oriented with excellent time management skills Must be proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment to perform dimensional inspection of product such as micrometers, bore gages, and test indicators Must be able to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome, nickel, cadmium and various thermal sprayed surfaces Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, CMM/OHM's, work order/ travelers and other written instructions Requires previous employment experience for the services sought, including practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station Join us at Sunvair as a Dimensional Inspector & Planner where your attention to detail ensures the highest standards of aerospace safety and quality!
