Job Description
Job Overview 6AM-2.30 PM 2.30PM-10 PM We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the production process in a fast-paced food processing environment, ensuring products meet strict quality and safety standards. Your energy and commitment will help us deliver high-quality food products efficiently while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in food production. Responsibilities Operate various machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and operational procedures, including packaging, mixing, and processing stations. Follow detailed work instructions to ensure food products meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation protocols. Monitor production lines for consistency, quality assurance, and safety compliance, making adjustments as needed. Assist in inventory management by accurately recording materials usage within SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) software. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies or safety hazards and reporting them promptly. Comply with all FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory/legal standards related to food safety and production. Qualifications Prior experience in food production or manufacturing management within a food processing plant is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety management systems, HACCP principles, GMP standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, weights, and inventory tracking. Strong understanding of quality standards in production and the importance of adhering to regulatory compliance standards. Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for managing production or assembly teams effectively and ensuring clear managerial communication. Demonstrated commitment to safety standards in production environments and maintaining a safe workspace at all times.
