In this role, you will hold primary ownership of the wafer scribe and break module , while supporting a variety of critical backend processes including wafer bonding, patterning, etching, and cleaning. You will collaborate closely with operators, equipment teams, and vendors to ensure optimal line performance, high-quality yields, and robust documentation. Job Description This position is primarily responsible for developing new processes and optimizing the current process. Process control and development for wafer scribe and break module and other backend processes such as wafer bond/demount, patterning, clean, plating, and etch. Operator training Documentation upkeep Manage tool performance, qualifications, optimization, acquisition, and assist equipment personnel for troubleshooting and be contact point for vendors Support incoming inspection, wafer cleaning, defect identification, and other tasks as needed by Process Manager Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree (BS) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education Experience with 3 or more years of industrial experience and/or training in wafer scribe and break for GaAs and InP substrates. Must have clean room and hands-on wafer processing experience Strong knowledge in automated optical inspection and wafer scribe/break or sawing process Good written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills required:
Development Software; Microsoft Office; and Eyelit Export Control/ITAR This position may require access to information and items subject to U.S. export control laws (e.g., ITAR/EAR). Employment is contingent on verification of U.S. person status or, where permitted, the company securing any required authorization.
