Full Job Description Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in the food processing industry. This role involves supporting the production process by operating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations, manufacturing practices, and quality assurance protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality food production while adhering to strict regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures to ensure efficient food production. Follow all safety standards in production, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to sanitation protocols. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards. Assist in packaging finished products accurately, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Monitor production processes for quality standards, identifying and addressing any deviations or defects. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in team meetings. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory/legal standards in production activities. Skills Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety management practices. Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems used in manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of quality standards in food production and manufacturing management. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks. Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures accurately. Effective communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and collaborating across departments. Prior experience within the food processing plant or food & beverage production environment is highly desirable. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards, sanitation, and quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
