This position will assist production employees with material handling, parts movement, basic shop tasks, cleaning, and general support as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assist production employees with general shop and manufacturing tasks Move materials, parts, and finished products between work areas Load and unload parts, materials, racks, carts, and pallets as needed Help organize materials and maintain clean and orderly work areas Perform basic deburring, cleaning, packaging, or part preparation when assigned Remove scrap and dispose of waste in designated areas Assist with counting, sorting, labeling, and staging parts Support shipping, receiving, production, and other departments as needed Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE Operate basic hand tools and shop equipment after proper training Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management Qualifications Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn different shop functions Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, squat, push, and pull throughout the shift Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, noise, and metal materials
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
