The Production Support employee is responsible for supplying raw materials and supplies to the departments to be converted to finished goods. This is done by transporting the raw materials from the raw material warehouse to various department with an industrial powered truck such as a forklift or a roll clamp truck in a safe and efficient manner. The Production Support employee will also unload raw materials from railcars and unload from trucks on docks. This position requires good eye-hand coordination in maneuvering the industrial lift and raw materials through areas that are congested with pedestrians, forklifts, building structures, machines and other materials. The Production Support employee is also responsible for disposing waste materials from the production areas. All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.
