Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset are a must. We are a tight-knit team that keeps each other in the know. We're growing fast, so flexibility and a willingness to learn is key.Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
Keeping production equipment running, producing high quality stickers, labels, and banners for our clients. Operating large format printers and cutting equipment. Stocking paper and production materials. Conducting regular equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties. Performing quality control by checking orders against set-up sheets and assessing the quality of the final product. The Production Assistant is the last line of sight before our customers see their product! Frequently coordinating and communicating with customer service, design, and the rest of the print production team. Troubleshooting equipment and quality issues. Shipping final product by creating shipping labels and packaging products for shipment. Assembling sample packets as needed. Other duties as assigned. Specialized Skills Ability to operate machinery and equipment. Mechanically inclined. Detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Ideal Candidate Open to learning new equipment, technology and programs. Enjoy working with your hands; making something makes you happy. A patient approach to troubleshooting and quality control. Previous experience conducting root cause analysis to solve problems. A desire to learn new things. Open to ideas, feedback and change. Willingness to jump in and do what is necessary to delight our customers and our team. An entrepreneurial mindset. Personal accountability and responsibility, taking ownership for your actions and results instead of blaming others. Goal oriented with a desire to learn and to be a part of a growing company. Full-time Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred 1 year of previous job related experience. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to use their hands to operate equipment, tools, and controls. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Location:
