The Employment Firm Wheat Ridge, CO Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Food production GMP Production area sanitation Warehouse experience Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking dependable, safety-minded team members to join our food manufacturing operation. Employees may support production, sanitation, and/or quality assurance activities to help ensure our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Successful candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment, following established procedures, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Production Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures. Assemble, process, package, label, and inspect food products. Follow production schedules, work instructions, and food safety procedures. Perform basic quality checks during production. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Identify and report equipment, product, or process issues. Sanitation Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, floors, and work areas. Follow sanitation procedures, chemical handling requirements, and cleaning schedules. Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for cleaning. Verify that equipment and work areas meet sanitation standards before production begins. Properly use personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies. Report sanitation concerns or potential food safety hazards promptly. Quality Assurance Perform routine inspections and quality checks on ingredients, products, packaging, and processes. Monitor compliance with food safety and quality procedures. Document inspection results and production information accurately. Identify, isolate, and report products that do not meet specifications. Follow company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, and other applicable food safety standards. Support investigations and corrective actions when quality or food safety issues occur. Qualifications Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, sanitation, quality assurance, warehouse, or a similar environment is preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the position. Willingness to work in a refrigerated, warm, wet, or otherwise variable production environment. Ability to follow all workplace safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment requirements.
