Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMFull-Time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Production Lead with a strong background in electrical/control panel manufacturing to join a growing manufacturing team in Arvada. This position will lead and support employees through the production process while remaining hands-on with the assembly and testing of controls, switchboards, panels, and related electrical equipment. The ideal candidate has previous leadership or training experience along with strong knowledge of electrical schematics, mechanical assemblies, quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices. Responsibilities Lead and support a production team to meet quality, safety, and on-time delivery goals Assemble and troubleshoot complex controls, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies Train employees on production processes, assembly procedures, and quality requirements Coach team members on reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and models Perform and oversee product testing, inspection, and final product disposition Identify production problems and assist with troubleshooting and corrective actions Work closely with Engineering to improve manufacturability and production processes Ensure materials and components are available for production and document discrepancies Conduct daily team huddles covering production expectations, safety, and quality Monitor production performance and assist with KPI tracking Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, one-piece flow, and continuous improvement Maintain a safety-first work environment and ensure proper PPE and procedures are followed Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient production area Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of manufacturing experience with UL 508A Control Panels, UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL 1558 Metal-Clad Switchgear, UL 891 Switchboards, and/or UL 67 Panelboards Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation Experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting, or inspecting electrical/control equipment Ability to train, mentor, and coach production employees Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing production priorities Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems Preferred Qualifications Previous Lead, Senior Technician, or Production Lead experience Trade school or technical training Military MOS related to wiring/electrical technician experience Experience with ERP or production-planning systems such as JobBOSS Lean manufacturing and 5S experience What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is technically strong but also comfortable leading people.
