Spherion is seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Manufacturing Production Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with basic machine operating, assembly, or production experience who are interested in developing their skills in plastics manufacturing. The selected candidate will assist with machine setup, operation, quality inspections, and maintaining efficient production flow. Training will be provided to help the right candidate learn specialized equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
Perform machine setup, startup, and shutdown procedures for extrusion equipment
Operate production machinery while following safety and quality guidelines
Monitor production lines to ensure smooth workflow and product quality
Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Assist with assembly, packaging, and material handling activities
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues with training and guidance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience required
Ability to learn and operate production equipment

Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
Good attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
