Windsor, CT 06095 Job Summary Support aerospace manufacturing and repair operations through assembly, cleaning, processing, inspection, repair, testing, and material handling. Follow technical instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble aircraft engine components for repair. Perform cleaning and processing, including etching, sanding, blending, brazing, and deburring. Use hand tools, power tools, shop machinery, and manufacturing equipment. Perform minor repairs and modifications while maintaining required tolerances. Set up and operate equipment to test component serviceability. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and precision measurement tools. Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, technical orders, and sketches. Inspect and certify completed work according to quality standards. Load, transport, and stage components throughout production. Follow PPE, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Cross-train and support multiple production areas. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred. 1+ year of manufacturing or warehouse experience. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and procedures. Experience using hand tools, gauges, or measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Effective English communication skills. Ability to stand, bend, twist, sit, and lift 25+ lbs. during an 8-hour shift. Ability to work overtime/weekends when required. Preferred Skills Aerospace, automotive, mechanical, assembly, or industrial repair experience. Precision measurement and inspection experience. Blueprint/specification reading. Crane, hoist, or material-handling equipment experience. Experience working with standardized procedures and work instructions.
