Essential Functions:
Assist in removing and replacing rolls, handling and installing auxiliary equipment, threading carriers/backer and making ordinary adjustments as needed. Obtain backer and/or carriers and ensure proper identification of used carriers. Assist operator to adjust and operate splicing unit for package material. Set up UV printer; clean unit and make adjustments as needed. Attend take-up end of machine. Stack and pack product and apply proper identification. Attend wind-up end of machine, make adjustments as needed. Check product, flag anything defective. Attend to slitting operation. Use equipment to move goods to proper areas. Assume the Helper's or Operator's duties as required by operation and directed by operator or supervisor. Cover operator or helper for breaks. Detect unusual conditions and report to operator or supervisor. Assist in maintaining/cleaning equipment and work areas on a daily basis. Assist in proper clean-up of any urethane spills. Maintain required records and perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
