Job Title:
Production Laborer Job Description We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Production Laborer to join our manufacturing team in Delaware. The ideal candidate will start by training and assisting current manufacturing staff and will eventually be trained to operate machinery independently. Responsibilities Assist current manufacturing staff with daily production tasks. Learn and follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Participate in training sessions to understand the manufacturing processes and equipment. Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Perform general labor tasks, including material handling, assembly, and packaging. Monitor and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Gradually take on more responsibilities, including operating machinery and equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills General production Assembly General labor Machine operating Tape measure proficiency Construction Production work Shop helper skills Hand tool proficiency Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role operates in an industrial environment with both old and new machinery. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime opportunities available. A drug screen and is required, and these are billed to the client. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
