8-hour rotating shifts, Monday through Friday. Shifts include 11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, and 3pm-11pm. Team members remain on each shift for 4 weeks before rotating to the next.

Pay Rate:

$20-$22 per hour, depending on experience

Newark, DE 19711 Join our team as a Production Operator I and play a vital role in our manufacturing operations. You'll be working as part of a 3-person team, focusing on the downstream operator role, with opportunities to cross-train in other areas.

Production Operator Responsibilities:

+ Follow all safety procedures and participate in HSE programs. + Set up, operate, and inspect extrusion lines, slitter, granulator, and related equipment. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Communicate operational updates and concerns to management. + Monitor processes and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance. + Perform product transfers, sampling, and quality assurance checks. + Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment. + Complete assigned auxiliary tasks and mandatory overtime as needed. + Cross-train within the team and support continuous improvement.

Production Operator Experience:

+ Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. + Resourceful-can quickly learn and transfer new knowledge to others. + Fork truck and scissor lift operation experience a plus. + Capable of mandatory overtime and working flexible shifts due to the rotating schedule.
