Job Summary:

We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity for a Production Control Specialist - C supporting backlog recovery, work order cleanup, and daily execution across a high-tempo manufacturing environment. Our team is looking for someone who can help restore data integrity, clear aged work, and keep material and schedule issues moving toward resolution.

Responsibilities:

Drive down work-order backlog by dispositioning idle or no-need-date orders, resolving stalled kitted parts, and closing out orders. Execute expedite efforts on hot jobs by identifying material, kit, and blocker issues across service centers and integrated areas. Provide off-nominal shift coverage support as needed, handling routine escalations and keeping work in progress moving. Maintain MRP and ERP data integrity while sharing daily status updates on backlog burn-down, expedite activity, and shift hand-offs.

Required:

Experience with schedule management, expediting, or backlog/data clean-up in a manufacturing or production environment. Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Costpoint, or similar systems. Ability to work independently on a defined backlog with minimal ramp-up in a high-tempo, high-ambiguity environment. Willingness and availability to support off-nominal shifts, including B/C/D coverage, as coverage gaps arise. Ability to work in English with speaking, reading, and writing proficiency. Prior experience specifically doing backlog remediation, data cleanup, or expedite work is desired, along with familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, Jira/ITS, and AI tools, if applicable.
