Screen Printing Production Assistant - Training Provided Xpresscolor - 5.0 Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description We are looking for a dependable and positive person to join our screen-printing production team. Previous screen-printing experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train someone who is responsible, learns quickly, communicates well, and works respectfully with others. This position is best for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows instructions, pays attention to details, and wants to learn a skilled trade. You will work under the supervision of an experienced team member who will teach you our production process. Responsibilities Assist with setting up screen-printing jobs. Load and unload shirts from the printing press. Prepare garments, screens, inks, and other materials. Check printed garments for quality and consistency. Count, fold, organize, and package completed orders. Help maintain production speed and meet deadlines. Keep the equipment and work area clean and organized. Follow instructions from the department supervisor. Communicate problems or mistakes immediately. Help other team members when needed. Learn how to operate screen-printing equipment safely. Learn registration, ink handling, curing, and quality control. What We Are Looking For Friendly and respectful toward coworkers. Able to communicate clearly with the team. Willing to learn and accept instruction. Dependable and punctual. Positive attitude. Able to stay focused in a busy production environment. Comfortable working as part of a team. Able to stand for extended periods. Able to lift and move boxes of garments. Careful with details and order quantities. Willing to help without creating conflict or negativity. Spanish speaker is a plus, but not necessary. Experience Screen-printing experience is a plus, but it is not required. Experience in printing, manufacturing, warehouse production, embroidery, apparel, heat pressing, or other hands-on production work is also helpful. We are more interested in finding the right person with a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Growth Opportunity The person selected will have the opportunity to learn the complete screen-printing process and eventually become a Screen Printing Operator. Employees who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, good communication, and production ability may receive additional responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.
