If you enjoy working with prototypes, solving technical challenges, and seeing your work move from concept to production, this role is for you. What You'll Do Design and develop airbag components, including fabric cut sets and assembly patterns, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and performance requirements Build and assemble prototypes from blueprints, sketches, and technical schematics Prepare samples and provide technical support for testing and validation activities Support redesign and continuous improvement efforts throughout the product lifecycle Operate textile manufacturing and test equipment in both lab and production environments Collaborate closely with engineers to refine processes and optimize designs What We're Looking For Technical degree or 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience At least 2 years of experience in a design or R D environment Comfortable using small hand tools and precision measuring devices (e.g., calipers, multimeters) Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn Why Join Us Work on innovative products with real-world impact Be part of a collaborative engineering and R D team Hands-on role with visibility across design, testing, and manufacturing Opportunity to grow your technical skills and contribute to new product development
