Position Summary The Control Room Operator runs and monitors plant process control through the SCADA system at the Tampa Terminal. This role is responsible for executing operational sequences, monitoring loading and unloading processes, and supporting field equipment assessments to keep terminal operations running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Run operational sequences and process controls through the SCADA system Monitor plant equipment and loading / unloading processes in real time Identify abnormal conditions, alarms, or process upsets and respond appropriately Go into the field as needed to assess equipment, support troubleshooting, and verify conditions Document operational logs, shift reports, and incident reports Coordinate with the unloading crew, maintenance team, and Terminal Manager Required Qualifications Mechanically inclined with hands-on aptitude Comfort working with control systems, monitors, and process data Ability to move between the control room and the field as operations require Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and clear communication Preferred Qualifications Prior

experience Experience working in a cement plant, oil & gas facility, or similar industrial process environment Familiarity with bulk materials handling equipment TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Working Conditions On-site at SESCO Cement's Tampa Terminal Outdoor port and terminal environment with exposure to weather, dust, and noise Physical work involving climbing, lifting, and operating heavy equipment Shift work may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on vessel schedules Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
