- Firm Range Full-Time | On-Site | Hialeah, FL We are an established food manufacturer seeking a Production Scheduling & Planning Coordinator to develop daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders, inventory, materials and packaging requirements.
This is an opportunity for a manufacturing professional whose education, experience and analytical skills provide a strong foundation for advancing into production planning . You do not need to have held the title of Production Planner, but your experience should align with the skills required for the position, including manufacturing scheduling, inventory, materials, purchasing, order management or production planning support. Responsibilities Develop daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders, inventory and manufacturing requirements Determine material and packaging requirements for planned production Manage packaging inventory and replenishment requirements Revise production plans as customer orders or manufacturing requirements change Maintain planning data and communicate production schedules and revisions to appropriate departments Qualifications Associate degree required; bachelor's degree a plus 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required Experience in scheduling, inventory, materials, purchasing, order management or production planning support Strong Excel and analytical skills Comfortable working with numbers, quantities and inventory data Strong organizational skills and attention to detail MRP/ERP experience is a plus Food manufacturing experience is a plus Must be bilingual
- English and Spanish About the Role This is a production planning position, not a production supervisory position .
This role creates and maintains the production plan; production management is responsible for executing it. The position is primarily planning and analytical but requires some time in the production facility and warehouse to understand inventory, materials and manufacturing requirements. Compensation $50,000
- 60,000 per year, depending on experience.
This is the established salary range for the position and will not exceed $60,000. Please apply only if your salary expectations fall within this range.
