Themed Entertainment, Museums, Zoos, Sports Venues ThemeWorks is hiring Art Production Support Staff to assist with the hands-on fabrication, preparation, assembly, and finishing of scenic elements and custom-built components for immersive environments — from museums and zoos to large-scale themed attractions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, using a variety of tools, and contributing to the production of unique, custom projects. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and company needs. What You'll Do Assist artists and production staff with the fabrication, preparation, and finishing of scenic elements and components Perform repetitive production tasks such as sanding, grinding, cutting, drilling, fastening, masking, filling, gluing, and surface preparation Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Assist with basic assembly, fitting, and installation of scenic components Prepare parts and surfaces for painting, coating, and other finishing processes Follow instructions, drawings, templates, and established production procedures Move, organize, and stage materials, parts, tools, and completed components throughout the production process Maintain consistent quality while performing repetitive tasks and producing multiple similar parts Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use Work closely with artists and other production departments to complete projects safely and on schedule What We're Looking For Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a production, fabrication, construction, or similar hands-on environment Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods while maintaining consistent quality Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools, materials, and production processes Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, templates, and established procedures Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform the preparation and support work required to achieve a quality finished product Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a production team Artistic or scenic fabrication experience is a plus but is not required Motivated to learn and develop additional fabrication and finishing skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active shop environment Why Work at ThemeWorks?
