Full Job Description Window & Door Installer Whitfield Window & Door is looking for a motivated, dependable, and experienced Window & Door Installer to join our growing team. We are a family-owned window and door company that takes pride in quality workmanship, doing the job right, and providing excellent service to our customers. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and wants an opportunity to grow with the company.
Position:
Window & Door Installer As a Window & Door Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation of windows and doors on residential replacement and new construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Install replacement and new construction windows and doors Properly remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer's home Follow manufacturer installation requirements and company installation standards Properly flash, seal, shim, fasten, and insulate windows and doors Ensure windows and doors are level, plumb, square, and operate properly Complete interior and exterior finishing as required Identify and communicate potential installation issues before and during installation Maintain a clean and organized job site Protect customer property and maintain a professional appearance Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors, sales, and other installers Complete final quality checks and ensure the customer is satisfied with the completed installation
Qualifications:
Previous window and/or door installation experience preferred Residential construction experience is a plus Ability to read and understand measurements Knowledge of basic construction practices and tools Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry windows, doors, and other materials Ability to work on ladders and around construction sites Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experienced installers are strongly encouraged to apply. We are also willing to consider candidates with strong construction experience who are motivated to learn window and door installation.
Compensation & Advancement:
Pay is based on experience and skill level . We believe good work should be rewarded. There is opportunity to advance within the company based on work ethic, experience, reliability, workmanship, and willingness to take on additional responsibility. There is also opportunity for overtime depending on workload and scheduling. This can provide additional earning potential for employees who want to work extra hours.
