$20+, Negotiable Based on Experience Overview The Sign Production Associate is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and full color printouts. Sign assembly includes preparing and applying vinyl or other media according to instructions. Additionally, mounting and/or laminating prints, operation and set-up of the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products is required. Proofreading signs and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs is required. This position may also assist with the installation of signs and decals. Other duties, as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of the construction and assembly of signs Move inventory and materials across facilities Process inventory Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location Ensure quality of delivered items and report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Stack and organize large bulk items Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location Load inventory or equipment on trucks and trailers Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Prepare documentation and inventory for audits Operate forklift to move or store inventory in a safe manner Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles Keep the premises neat and clean Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations Perform general maintenance tasks for facilities. Any other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications High school degree or equivalent Valid forklift certification - Preferred Valid driver's license Excellent verbal and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently Detailed oriented and highly organized Position involves outdoor work. Physical Demands Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
