WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
CertainTeed's Palatka, Florida manufacturing facility is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our manufacturing team as Production Operators. In this role, you will work in various positions along the production line to support the safe, efficient manufacturing of high quality wallboard products used throughout the building industry.
Primary Functions:
Follow and promote all safety rules and demonstrate knowledge of safe operating procedures Work amongst continuous running production equipment Maintain well organized and clean workstation in a 5S manufacturing environment Update required documentation in support of efficient production processes and to ensure a quality product Perform to all quality expectations, isolate and report all defects, ensure that product meets all dimensional and cosmetic standards, and adhere to all SOP standards Communicate efficiently and professionally with coworkers, other shifts, and other departments Utilize tape measure for quality checks and utilize computer systems/HMI screen regularly Count and maintain accurate inventory records as needed

Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) One year of manufacturing experience (preferred) Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to work a 12 hour rotating swing shifts Consistent, reliable attendance with the ability to work days, nights, or weekends as scheduled Willingness and ability to work overtime as required Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and a hard hat Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 70 pound
