Job Description

Now Hiring:
Theatrical Production Assistant (Full-Time Project Role) Join our team for an exciting live production project running now through January 10, 2027 in Pompano Beach, FL . This is a full-time, in-studio role requiring daily on-site presence. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Some travel is required, primarily during November/January.
What You'll Do:
Support all aspects of live theatrical production while serving as a key organizational and communication liaison for the team.
Responsibilities include:
Assist in all production departments, including lighting, sound, rigging, scenic elements, props, and backstage coordination Participate in creative development, including script development and attending creative and production meetings Review performance materials and understand the technical and artistic needs of each act and show scene Coordinate closely on all props, scenic elements, and production assets to ensure they are executed to specification Attend production calls and clearly communicate updates and action items to the team Assist with administrative production needs, including travel coordination, rooming lists, ground transportation, contracts, spec sheets, and costume documentation Maintain detailed knowledge of all production elements pertaining to the show Generate load lists and oversee truck pack, load-in, and load-out process Manage and organize all show-related materials within the studio Support rigging coordination and understand all technical requirements Collaborate with the lighting & sound teams to help shape the overall production aesthetic Work closely with on-site leadership during installation and show operation Serve as a professional on-site representative, liaising with venue teams and ensuring clear, effective communication
What We're Looking For:
Working knowledge of theatre and live production (circus experience a plus) Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage and multi-task Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and represent the production on-site Proficient in computer skills, documentation, and reporting Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a team-first attitude Ability to understand and oversee all aspects of a production from concept through execution If you're passionate about live entertainment and ready to take on a dynamic, hands-on leadership support role, we'd love to hear from you!
