Operating other industrial machine inside facility as needed for production orders. Responsibilities Operate various production machinery with precision and safety. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or manufacturing documents to set up and run equipment accurately. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to FDOT and AASHTO standards. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other handling tools while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Maintain detailed records of machine operation, quality control checks, and production documentation. Assist in tooling setup, fabrication tasks, assembly line processes, and packaging operations as needed to support overall manufacturing efficiency. Requirements Experience operating industrial machinery, or fabrication equipment. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using micrometers and calipers, and understand Specifications. Hands-on experience with factory or manufacturing facility environments; warehouse experience is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in production settings and ability to follow strict safety protocols at all times. Experience operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with industrial equipment troubleshooting capabilities. Strong attention to detail combined with good basic math skills for precise measurements and quality control. Ability to weld, or willing to be taught.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
