Company Overview We are a leading distributor of custom matting. Our company is dedicated to delivering innovative products and exceptional service to our clients across various industries. Job Overview Role Clarification This position is responsible for file setup and pre-production review only . It does not operate the CNC machinery or carpet printer. CNC & Print File Setup Specialist — Key Job Points Prepare accurate, production-ready CNC files using WardCam software . Set up printed mat artwork files to be sent to the carpet printer . Review orders and approved artwork to confirm size, quantity, colors, inlays, seams, open ends, orientation, and other production details. Ensure all required files are complete, correctly named, organized, and matched to the correct order. Perform a final quality check before releasing files to production. Identify and communicate missing, unclear, or conflicting information before setup is completed. Troubleshoot common artwork and file-setup issues. Maintain accurate order status and production-log updates. Prioritize files based on due dates and production needs. Communicate clearly with artwork, order-entry, and production teams. Help prevent production delays, errors, rework, and remakes through careful file preparation. Maintain strong attention to detail while handling multiple orders. Ideal Candidate Experience with WardCam or similar CNC/CAM file-preparation software. Experience preparing print-ready artwork or production files. Strong computer, file-management, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Able to read order specifications and compare them against approved artwork. Comfortable resolving routine file issues and asking for clarification when information is incomplete. Dependable, organized, and able to manage deadlines without sacrificing quality. Ideal Candidate Profile A strong recruit would be someone who: Is highly detail-oriented and methodical. Takes ownership of work from initial review through production release. Does not make assumptions when information is incomplete. Can balance speed, due dates, and accuracy. Works independently on routine technical issues. Communicates problems early and with enough detail for quick resolution. Learns from corrections and reduces repeat mistakes. Understands that preventing errors is as important as completing volume. Remains dependable when handling rush, custom, complex, high-value, or high-risk orders.
