Job Description
Job Summary:
This position performs basic repairs, defect inspections, re-roll operations, and material handling to ensure product quality and timely shipment. Repair I Associate is also responsible for operating the cut table safely and efficiently while producing accurate cuts to meet production schedules and customer requirements. This role works closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse Teams to maintain productivity, safety, and operational excellence. 1stShift:
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate the cut table and follow all operating procedures. Produce accurate cuts according to production schedules and shipping deadlines. Perform basic repairs and inspect products for defects requiring repair or remake. Process re-rolls from production and warehouse inventory. Load rolls using a pole lift truck (Pole Hyster). Wrap, label, and prepare finished products for shipment, including FedEx orders. Strap damaged cores and prepare recyclable materials for disposal. Assist with maintaining accurate Q-roll counts and minimizing repair inventory. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Basic computer skills. Manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and follow written work instructions. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred:
Previous cut table experience. Lift truck (LTO) experience. Artificial turf manufacturing experience. Basic Microsoft Outlook/email experience.
