Production Operator - 1st Shift

Dumaplast USA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join a great team in Canton, GA. Dumaplast specializes in making high quality kitchen, bathroom, and office surfaces. Starting pay is $18/hour. Your Day to

Day:

• Follows ALL PPE & Safety requirements for the area.
• Lift truck certification.
• Make small adjustments to machinery to inform a steady flow of material.
• Place pallets at the end of the line for stacking.
• Keep track of scrap slabs.
• Always keep the work area clean.
• Keep accurate count of stacking count.
• Keep up with finished pallets.
• Input data quality checks.
• Properly enter all quality information into the computer.
• Cross train when necessary.
• May be asked to train other operators.
• Report quality issues to the lead & supervisor.
• Make pallet labels.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Work as a team.

Physical Demands:

The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. What we would love about you:

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE.

Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Effective problem-solving skills. High School diploma or GED Ability to cross train and perform additional duties as needed. Experience in

LVT/LVP/SPC/PVC

industry preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction. Ability to work in an environment that is noisy. Ability to perform specific duties with instructions but without direct supervision. Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports.
