Duties Assemble components accurately using hand tools and mechanical assembly techniques Measure parts and finished products with measuring instruments to meet quality specifications Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety protocols Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions Maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with safety standards and lean manufacturing principles Skills Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and manual handling techniques Previous experience working on assembly lines or in manufacturing facilities preferred Understanding of safety standards in production and adherence to safety protocol guidelines Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively when required Knowledge of manufacturing management practices, process improvement strategies, and lean manufacturing concepts
