Pay:

$18.75•$20.25 per hour

Schedule:

Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM•6:30

PM Shift:

12‑hour shifts, paid for 40 hours

Training Schedule:

Training will take place on weekdays before moving to the weekend schedule

Monday-Thursday:

6:00 AM•4:30

PM Friday:

6:00 AM•2:30 PM

This is a hands‑on manufacturing position , not warehouse work. The environment is loud and dusty , and employees must be able to wear respiratory protection while safely operating cutting tools . Position Overview The Cutter works in the Plastics Department and is responsible for cutting, finishing, and preparing plastic trench drain products according to specifications. This role supports overall production efficiency by ensuring components are accurately cut, safe to handle, and ready for assembly or shipment. Primary Responsibilities Operate cutting tools and equipment to cut plastic trench drain components Measure and verify cuts using tape measures and basic shop drawings Trim, clean, and finish cut parts to required specifications Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy Stack finished products onto pallets safely and efficiently Prepare pallets for shipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area Contribute to daily production goals Perform other duties as assigned Safety Responsibilities Maintain a "safety‑first" mindset at all times Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Wear a respirator as required Work safely in a loud, dusty manufacturing environment Safely operate power tools and hand tools Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience (laborer or similar role) Experience working with cutting tools preferred Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to use hand and power tools effectively Ability to read and interpret simple shop drawings Dependable attendance is required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must pass a drug screen and background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Valid state‑issued driver's license required Education High school diploma or GED preferred Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and move throughout 12‑hour shifts Ability to work in hot and cold conditions Ability to work in loud and dusty environments
