Job description: Friday-Sunday (6am-6:30pm), 12-hour shifts, paid for 40 hours.

TRAINING

will be during weekdays (Please expect to train for at least 4 weeks before transitioning to weekends) This is a manufacturing environment - It is dusty and loud environment.

Position overview:

The weekend assembly worker will be responsible for all tasks required for department efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment with a "safety first" mindset Follow all safety processes and procedures Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products

ASSEMBLY

Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis Other duties as assigned Qualifications (for all departments): Must be at least 18 years of age Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer Dependability to report to work is a must Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus Must pass a drug screen and background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a valid state-issued driver's license Education (for all departments): High school diploma or GED preferred Supervisory requirements: None Competencies (for all departments): Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours) Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management
