Job Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for identifying the correct linens per account and ensuring no mixed, dirty, or damaged items before feeding or folding. Maintains fast-paced production while following safety rules. Assists by reporting machinery issues to leaders to ensure proper operation and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed machines with linens such as sheets, towels, and robes. Keep the workstation clean and organized to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure linens match the assigned account and separate any damaged or mixed items. Maintain a production rate of 85% or higher in the Spindle system. Stay logged into the system while working to ensure accurate tracking of production. Perform other assigned duties as necessary to support production operations. Report any machinery issues to leaders promptly to ensure proper operation and workflow.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced setting with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces and perform repetitive tasks. Physical capability to twist, reach, push up to 50 lbs, pull 20 lbs, and lift or carry 10 lbs. Strong attention to detail to ensure linens match the assigned account and are free from damage or dirt. Proficiency in maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Ability to work indoors, protected from weather, but with the stamina to handle extended hours if necessary. Competence in using precise hand movements and grasping tasks effectively. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining safety standards. Effective communication skills to report machinery issues to leaders promptly for smooth operation and workflow maintenance.
