Job Description

The Production Operator Cell A Fabrication is a first shift, full-time non-exempt position at the Jasper, GA Royston location with normal hours of Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime and occasional Saturday. Essential Functions /
Job Responsibilities:
Measure parts for accuracy, comparing to drawings while visually inspecting parts for quality defects. Keep area clean and orderly at all times. Support 5S activities Observe all safety regulations and report any and all safety issues Properly set up each machine, including program modifications and finger adjustment Meet existing set-up times and production rates Off load product from equipment and place in proper location Complete daily production on time Spot Welding and Mig Welding as required Demonstrate ability to adapt to change Acquire new skills and maintain a positive attitude Other tasks and duties as assigned Support all lean production activities Minimum Qualifications /
Skills:
Basic Machine Troubleshooting Good Math Skills Ability to read and understand drawings, sketches, and dimensional diagrams Ability to measure physical parts with required gauges, i.e. Scales, calipers, etc. Good mechanical ability Ability to understand the tooling, components, and capability of the machine. Working knowledge of bend allowances for different materials Ability to understand programming requirements and modify programs
