Paint Line Operator / Coating Production Operator Job Title Paint Line Operator / Coating Production Operator Location Midway, GA Job Type Full-time Pay Starting pay : $21.00 per hour After 90 days or 780 hours: $22-$23/hr upon successful performance evaluation Team leader / experienced operator: $24-$26/hr A 90-day training and probation period will apply after hire. Pay increase available upon successful completion of training and when able to perform job duties independently. Job Summary This position is responsible for operating coating and related production equipment, monitoring product flow and basic process conditions, supporting quality and safety standards, and helping maintain stable production in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided for company equipment, coating line procedures, product handling, and basic quality and safety requirements. Candidates with manufacturing experience or a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Operate coating line and related production equipment Load, unload, move, or position parts for production as required Monitor equipment operation and basic process conditions during production Check coated parts for visible defects or abnormal conditions Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and routine production support Follow work instructions, production procedures, and safety rules Maintain a clean and organized work area Report equipment issues, product concerns, or abnormal conditions to supervisors Support other production-related tasks as needed Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Employment eligibility verification required at the time of hire Preferred Qualifications Experience using paint-related tools or equipment preferred At least 1 year of experience using hand tools, power tools, or related equipment preferred Manufacturing or production line experience preferred Experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures Good attendance, reliability, and teamwork required Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment Basic visual inspection ability preferred Additional language skills are a plus Schedule Standard 8-hour shift Weekend work may be required as needed Must be available to work any shift, including day, night, and weekends Depending on department assignment, schedules may include 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts Physical / Work Requirements Ability to work in environments with daily exposure to extreme heat and cold, dust, and fumes Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment at all times, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hat Basic computer skills required Ability to read and understand work instructions Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, speak, and hear on a regular basis during the shift Ability to lift, lower, and control objects at floor level, knee level, waist level, and chest level Ability to maintain balance on varying walking and working surfaces Ability to use fingers and hands for grasping, manipulating, placing, and assembling parts Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, moving parts, heat, and production equipment Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k)
