8 hours per day / 16 hours total guaranteed Overview We're looking for a reliable, experienced Production Assistant to support a small video production team during the ASHHRA Conference in Savannah, Georgia. This project involves capturing candid, authentic moments between conference attendees, networking interactions, booth activity, handshakes, smiles, and overall positive conference energy for highlight reels and promotional content. The role will also include assisting with interview setups in a separate filming area. Preference will be given to candidates local to Savannah or the surrounding area. Limited travel consideration may be available for highly qualified candidates. Responsibilities

• Operate either a Sony FX9 or Sony A7R V (depending on production needs) to capture candid b-roll and attendee interactions; camera settings and technical setup will be handled by the lead producer
• Assist with interview setup, including:
• Micing up participants
• Getting talent prepped and ready
• Helping manage flow in the interview area
• Support basic lighting setups for interviews (lighting will be provided)
• Assist with light photography as needed
• General production support during a live conference environment Equipment & Experience
• Prior experience working corporate events, conferences, or live events is strongly preferred
• Some familiarity with Sony cameras (FX9, A7 series, or similar) is ideal
• You should be comfortable operating the camera and following creative guidance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional event environment Schedule & Pay Details
• Day 1: Up to 8 hours
• Day 2: Up to 8 hours
• Guaranteed pay for 16 total hours across both days
• Actual working hours may be less, but availability for both full days is required
• Additional hours beyond 16 will be paid hourly at the agreed rate

Looking for someone professional, dependable, and easy to work with. This is a freelance Production Assistant role supporting conference video production during the ASHHRA Conference in Savannah, GA. The hourly rate ranges from $30-$40 per hour, based on experience, familiarity with corporate/conference environments, and comfort working with Sony cameras. A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours will be paid across the two production days, even if the full time is not utilized, in exchange for holding availability for both scheduled days. Any additional hours worked beyond the 16-hour guarantee will be paid hourly at the agreed rate. Production equipment will be provided.
