Job Description

Job Overview Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location as an immediate opportunity at a Tucker manufacturing company for an experienced Production Technician. 1st Shift position.
Job Summary:
Ensure good personal safety practices are followed, including but not limited to OSHA and EPA . Understand how to obtain safety information on chemical SDSs. Inspect equipment daily, perform pre-shift inspections, and maintain/clean the assigned machine, equipment, or area. Be responsible for daily manufacturing activities, including setup, in-process, and post-process handling and monitoring of all intermediates, and products. Including but not limited to following SOPs, routings, and written/verbal instructions. Demonstrate adherence to ISO standards. Includes recording and verifying accurate information is reported on all documentation. Making suggestions for improvements to SOPs, routing, work practices, processes, and areas. Report chemical and supply inventory shortages in a timely manner. Handle, transfer, and confirm all inventory items. Proper handling of all waste materials. Understanding the differences between various types of waste, storage locations, and personal protection requirements. Instructing other departments about safety and handling when required. Participate in the continuous improvement processes for safety, quality, service, and productivity.

Work Schedule for
Shipping:
Warehouse experience including materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts. Laboratory experience or familiarity with quality control testing procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial chemical handling and the use of PPE. Basic understanding of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is integral to maintaining high-quality production standards while ensuring a safe working environment. We welcome candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute their skills within a regulated manufacturing setting.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
