POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Jetter is responsible for safely and efficiently jetting, plumbing, testing, and preparing Boca walk-in tubs for shipment while maintaining Boca's standards for
SAFETY, QUALITY, AND PRODUCTION
. The Jetter is expected to take ownership of every tub worked on—from drilling and installation through testing and final placement in the shipping staging area. This position also supports other areas of manufacturing as needed, including pulling parts, shipping and packing, popping tubs and molds, cleaning, material handling, and general production support.

The Jetter is expected to:
Lead by example and always work safely . Know, understand, and properly use all tools and equipment required for the position. Follow Boca safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and safe work area. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or safety concerns to management. Help ensure fellow Boca employees follow safe working practices. Never sacrifice safety for speed or production. 2.
QUALITY CONTROL
Every tub represents Boca Walk-In Tubs and must meet our quality standards before leaving production.
The Jetter is expected to:
Take pride in workmanship and produce clean, professional-quality work. Follow Boca procedures, manufacturer installation instructions, and customer order specifications. Maintain a zero-leak expectation . Correctly install all jets, plumbing, controls, fittings, and related components. Inspect the tub throughout the production process for damage, defects, or workmanship issues. Immediately communicate any damage, required repair, change, or corrective action to the Shop Manager. Obtain management approval when changes or repairs are required. Protect finished surfaces and installed components throughout production. Never knowingly pass a defect or problem to the next production station. If you see a problem, own it, report it, and help get it corrected. 3.
JETTING, PLUMBING & PRODUCTION
The Jetter is responsible for completing the jetting and plumbing process according to the production schedule and customer order.
Primary responsibilities include:
Review the work order and verify the tub size, model, and selected options before beginning work. Drill tubs using the correct templates for the tub size and options ordered. Jet and plumb tubs according to Boca standards, manufacturer instructions, and order specifications. Install all components correctly, securely, and cleanly. Understand the purpose and operation of the jets, pumps, controls, plumbing, door components, and other parts installed on Boca tubs. Maintain organized plumbing and professional workmanship. Protect the tub from scratches, damage, debris, and contamination during production. Correct problems before moving the tub to the next stage. Production Standard The expected minimum production level is generally 2-3 completed tubs per day , depending on tub configuration, options, production schedule, and management direction. Production speed never takes priority over safety or quality. A tub is not considered complete until it has: Been completely jetted and plumbed. Been fully tested. Passed the required quality inspections. Received the required QC sign-offs. Been moved to the designated shipping staging area. 4.
TESTING & FINAL INSPECTION
Every tub must be tested before it is released to shipping.
Testing includes:
Test every operational function of the tub. Inspect every plumbing connection for leaks. Verify proper operation of pumps, jets, controls, and installed options. Thoroughly inspect the door, seal, and related components. Inspect the tub for cosmetic or physical damage. Verify the tub matches the customer's order and specifications. Correct or report any issue before the tub is released. Two employees must complete the required sign-off before a tub moves to shipping. No tub should be moved to shipping with a known defect, leak, missing component, or unresolved quality issue. 5.
PRODUCTION SUPPORT
Boca operates as a team. The Jetter is expected to assist other areas of production when needed.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with popping tubs and miscellaneous molds. Assist with shipping and packing. Know how to properly pack a tub for shipment. Verify the correct parts and accessories are included with each shipment. Pull and stage parts for upcoming production. Move tubs and materials safely throughout the facility. Clean the testing tank as needed. Assist with general cleaning and organization. Help other production areas when directed by management. There is always something productive that can be done. Take initiative and help the team. 6.
SCHEDULING & DAILY PRODUCTION
The Jetter is responsible for understanding and working toward Boca's daily and weekly production goals.
The Jetter is expected to:
Meet with the Shop Manager each morning to review daily priorities. Understand the daily and weekly production schedule. Complete assigned work within the expected time frame. Prioritize work based on production requirements. Communicate delays or potential problems as soon as they are identified. Coordinate with other production employees to keep tubs moving efficiently through manufacturing. Follow the direction and production priorities established by the Shop Manager and Operations Manager. 7.
MATERIALS, PARTS & TOOLS
The Jetter is expected to take ownership of the materials, parts, and tools necessary to complete assigned work.
Responsibilities include:
Verify required parts and materials are available before beginning work. Stage materials and equipment in advance whenever possible. Look ahead at upcoming production needs. Notify management of low inventory, damaged materials, or missing components before they create production delays. Properly store unused materials. Protect materials and finished components from damage. Properly care for Boca tools and equipment. Report damaged, missing, or unsafe tools and equipment immediately. Keep parts, tools, and work areas organized. Dispose of trash and production waste throughout the day rather than allowing it to accumulate. 8.
PRODUCTIVITY & COST AWARENESS
Every employee has a responsibility to help Boca operate efficiently.
The Jetter is expected to:
Work with purpose and maintain a productive pace throughout the day. Organize work to minimize unnecessary movement, delays, and downtime. Plan the sequence of work before beginning whenever possible. Protect materials from damage, waste, theft, or mishandling. Reduce rework by completing the job correctly the first time. Properly maintain tools and equipment. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, or production. Avoid wasting company time, materials, and resources. Work smarter, eliminate waste, and continuously look for a better way.
