m. Position Overview Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support product implementation, production documentation, and manufacturing processes. This is primarily a computer-based technical support role , not an assembly or product-building position. The technician reviews customer orders, blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and specifications and translates that information into clear production plans and documentation. The position also works closely with production employees to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and respond to changing priorities throughout the day. Responsibilities Review customer orders, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and bills of materials. Document product requirements and prepare work instructions. Support new-product launches and production start-ups. Confirm documentation, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and materials are ready before production begins. Answer technical questions from production employees. Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, documentation, and process issues. Conduct time studies and compare actual production times with estimates. Identify inefficient processes and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate information in company systems. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service. Manage multiple assignments and adjust to changing production priorities. Qualifications Associate degree in engineering technology, manufacturing technology, industrial technology, electronics technology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered. Manufacturing engineering, process, production-support, or technical-documentation experience. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions. Comfortable performing detailed computer and documentation work. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to manage interruptions and multiple priorities. Approachable and comfortable assisting production employees. Experience with tooling, fixtures, time studies, new-product launches, process improvement, electromechanical assembly, or manufacturing software is a plus.
