Apply Now to Get Started Started Quickly Job Description This role supports a high-volume manufacturing operation by performing general production, packaging, and material handling tasks on either day or night shift. You will work on the production line to package pipe, assist with general labor duties, and may operate forklifts and other machinery as needed. The position offers consistent hours, opportunities to learn new skills, and performance-based pay increases. Responsibilities Package pipe at the end of the production line according to established procedures and quality standards. Perform general labor and production duties to support continuous operation of the manufacturing line. Operate forklifts safely to move materials, products, and supplies as directed, once properly trained and authorized. Operate production machines down the line, following all safety and operating guidelines. Monitor work area to maintain cleanliness and organization, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear. Meet productivity expectations by working efficiently and maintaining focus throughout the shift. Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules. Learn and adapt to new tasks, processes, and equipment as production needs change. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a typical manufacturing facility that can get a little dirty and is not fully climate controlled, though conditions are described as manageable. You will work a consistent 48-hour schedule. The day shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The night shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. You will work around production lines, packaging equipment, and forklifts, and may use various machines down the line. The role requires appropriate work attire suitable for a manufacturing setting and adherence to all safety practices and equipment requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lemont Furnace, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
