Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description The General Production Worker supports manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment by performing assembly tasks, operating basic equipment, and handling materials. This role involves using hand tools to assist with the fabrication of patio enclosures and other products, while safely lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Perform general assembly tasks on a production floor, following work instructions and quality standards. Utilize a variety of hand tools to assist with the manufacturing of patio enclosures and related components. Lift, carry, and move products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Support general labor activities in an industrial environment, including material handling and workstation organization. Operate basic production machinery as directed, adhering to safety and operational procedures. Assist with forklift-related tasks if trained and authorized, such as moving pallets or materials within the facility. Work collaboratively at team-oriented workstations to meet production targets and timelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards. Follow established processes and instructions to ensure consistent product quality and efficient workflow. Adapt to changing production needs and perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience utilizing hand tools in a work setting. A minimum of 6 months of experience working in an industrial or production-based environment. Demonstrated ability to perform general labor tasks in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Comfortable and capable of lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Experience with general production work, including assembly and basic machine operation. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment. Comfortable utilizing hand tools safely and efficiently for manufacturing tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Experience in assembly work, including working with components and finished products. Forklift experience or familiarity with forklift operations in a production setting. General labor experience in industrial environments, such as warehouses or factories. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
