Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves the assembly and building of frames for new projects, requiring mechanical inclination and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The position operates on a day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some days extending to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays until the end of the year. Responsibilities Build frames and support new project development. Utilize hand tools, drills, and nail guns efficiently. Perform medium to heavy lifting as required. Operate hand power tools for assembly and production tasks. Assemble and palletize shipments accurately. Handle pulling, packing, and loading duties effectively. Work independently and collaboratively within a team. Maintain strong communication and teamwork skills. Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship. Essential Skills 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in using a tape measure and power drill. Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively. Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor and mechanical skills. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our warehouse environment is spacious and clean, with distinct areas for manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing. While not temperature-controlled, the facility is cooler in winter and warmer in summer. Dress code is casual, with appropriate jeans and t-shirts. Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection will be provided, and steel-toed boots are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
